This time of year can be a bit of a challenge for everyone. So much to get done, not enough hours in the day, losing our temper a bit more than usual. These are a few of my favorite quotes that make me feel a bit more peaceful:

However many holy words you read, however many you speak, what good will they do if you do not act upon them?

In the end these things matter most: How well did you love? How fully did you live?  How deeply did you let go?

You only lose what you cling too.

To be free from suffering free yourself from attachments.

See the false as false and the truth as true. Look into your heart and follow your nature.

Got my degree at University of Cumbria (Lancaster) in English Lit and Creative Writing and now find how difficult it really is to make yourself write everyday. Hardest job in the world! Now a few years on I realise just how hard. Wordsworth was right, movement is so important to creativity...So a few years on now and over 50 walking football is seemingly the movement needed!

    1. I am a budding new writer who went to uni just 5 yrs ago. As a huge book fan I decided that with my battling alcoholism (sober since 2002!) I needed a hobby to keep myself om the straight and narrow. So the comments I am picking up on wordpress from yourself (& others) is a brilliant confidence boost and must the universes’ way of telling me to just keep on plugging away! It is hard (as I have heard/read many authors say!) but when we finally do sit and write it is immensely rewarding. Thanks again!
